How To Become More Disciplined With Your Health?
Discipline can be the most challenging thing ever to do in our lives, especially when it comes to our health.
We often say and want to set goals on exercising more, eating more cleaner, take herbs, supplements, etc. but when it comes to executing and actually putting the work in to do it, we fail.
Because, we are not discipling ourselves enough. We often want the goal accomplished without putting in the hard work. We can't say no to our precious desires in exchange for bigger rewards. We simply don't know how to say "no" or "not right now". When something gets thrown at our face, we immediately will go for it.
Example, you and a friend may be riding out for the day for some errands or to hang out. She decides to stop at Five Guys for a burger and some fries and you know you're on a diet because you want to lose some pounds, or simply that day was not your 'cheat day or pass'. Either way, you must say no, even though a burger sounds good and delicious at the moment. However, if a person is not disciplined enough, they will easily join that friend crushing on that burger and fries.
Discipling ourselves to say no can be very, very challenging, especially when there are others around that don't have the same goals as us.
That's when you either set boundaries with that person by telling them, maybe eat before they come around you or you must train yourself to be strong and say no!
If we learn to set our minds on a certain goal, such as improving our health, then it comes along with discipline. Discipline ain't always easy but eventually it becomes easy with practice, it's up to you to decide.
